A cerimônia da Bet Awards 2023 foi realizada na noite desse domingo (25), transmitida diretamente de Los Angeles. O evento premiou diversos artistas em uma noite de celebração da cultura negra. Drake liderou o ranking e foi a personalidade com mais indicações, sete no total.
Na vigésima terceira edição, a Bet Awards contou com shows de Fat Joe, Soulja Boy, Tyga e Coco Jones, além de outros artistas em destaque como Beyoncé, SZA, Lizzo, Nicki Minaj, Cardi B e Ice Spice.
Ainda durante as premiações, o compositor, produtor musical e ator Busta Rhymes, recebeu o prêmio que homenageia aqueles com importante papel cultural e que lideraram a elevação da indústria.
